Who can have a free NHS vaccination this winter
The NHS pays for these vaccinations for the people most likely to become seriously ill. If you are in one of the groups below, yours is free — there is nothing to pay and nothing to claim back.
Flu vaccination — free if you
are aged 65 or over · are pregnant · have a long-term health condition such as asthma or COPD, diabetes, heart, kidney, liver or neurological disease, a weakened immune system, or a learning disability · live in a care home · are the main carer for an older or disabled person · live with someone who has a weakened immune system · are a frontline health or social care worker.
COVID-19 vaccination — free if you
are aged 75 or over · live in a care home for older adults · have a weakened immune system.
Children under 18 are vaccinated through school or their GP surgery, so we can’t book them here. If you’re not sure whether a condition counts, start the check anyway or ring us on 01909 268 001 — we’ll work it out with you.
Common questions
Will I be charged?
If you are in one of the NHS groups listed at the top of this page, no. The NHS pays us directly and you pay nothing at any point.
Can I have flu and COVID-19 together?
Yes, if you qualify for both. They are given in separate arms at the same appointment, which is what the NHS recommends.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and a short-sleeved top. Your NHS number helps but isn’t essential.
I’m not sure my condition counts
Ring us on 01909 268 001 and we’ll check the NHS criteria with you before you book.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Use the link in your confirmation email, or call us. Please let us know if you can’t come so we can offer the slot to someone else.
