Emergency Contraception — Local Patients

Had unprotected sex, or think your contraception may have failed? Get free NHS emergency contraception at Kiveton Pharmacy. Walk in, or call 01909 268 001 to book a telephone appointment. The sooner, the better. Under-16s are always seen face to face.

UTI Treatment — No GP Needed

Our pharmacists can assess and supply antibiotics for urinary tract infections via the herPILL app. (England only)

Is the service really free?

Yes. It is completely free on the NHS for England residents. The app, consultation, prescription, and ongoing reviews are all covered with no hidden charges.

How long does the consultation take?

The in-app consultation takes around five to ten minutes to complete. Our pharmacist will review it and respond promptly during working hours.

Can I transfer my existing pill prescription?

Yes. If you are already on the pill, our pharmacists can issue repeat NHS prescriptions through a quick herPILL review — no need to see your GP.

Can I get both the combined pill and the progestogen-only pill?

We offer both COCP and POP. Your pharmacist will advise on the most suitable option based on your health history during the consultation.

Is a female pharmacist available?

Yes, a female pharmacist is available upon request for in-store consultations. All herPILL app consultations are handled with full confidentiality.
